Development and product design
A full service supplier throughout the product development phase. Planning and design (3D/2D) of wiring harnesses and components using innovative systems that have been designed by SWS – Sumitomo Wiring System itself.
Modelling
Production of a mock-up wiring model for pilot tests and design checks. After the verification activities the production can move to the industrialization stage.
Validation
The product verification stage through internal and external laboratories analyses is when the main electrical, mechanical and environmental tests are conducted in order to check the performance of the wiring.
Production
The manufacturing of the product takes place in advanced production plants under processes developed by Sumitomo and using innovative technologies and equipment.
