Wiring harnesses and components

Wiring harnesses

Our core business consists in the development and production of wiring harnesses for heavy and light industrial vehicles, agricultural machinery, construction machinery and fork-lifts.

The wiring of a vehicle can be compared to the human nervous system. It transmits electric signals which permit the exchange of information within vehicular devices.

More than ever before, connection points for circuits and wires are at the heart of a vehicle’s structure. Our wiring harness manufacturing process executed with cutting edge technology succeeds in providing the best solutions in terms of cost efficiency.

Dynamic Product Design

Our distinctiveness thrives in our dynamic design principles and the crucial time we dedicate to our customers in order to understand their specific needs in terms of cost, performance and quality. We manage the entire product design development, implementing our research and engineering expertise in order to find innovative, qualitative and affordable solutions.

Our wiring harness automotive products are designed according to our client’s needs and assembled in our production plants in Morocco and Poland.

The automation sector is increasing, however some essential stages, such as the passage of the wire in the pipe, still require manufacture by hand.

A product of increasing importance

The increasing quantity of electronic devices on board results in the need to have complex connections. Therefore, the wiring harnesses produced by SEWS-CABIND are becoming progressively strategic when designing a vehicle as we tailor the product to the new emerging needs of our clients.

The Sumitomo Electric Industries Group annually increases its investments on research and development (from 600 to 680 million euro in the past three years).
