SEWS-E
SEWS-E was established in May 1999 after SWS acquired Lucas SEI Wiring Systems Ltd in the UK. The company now operates across more than 50 sites and employs around 20,000 people. The Headquarters is based in Silverdale, Newcastle-under-Lyme, UK, which is very close to the UK based customers and within one hours drive of four international airports.
SEBN
SEBN was founded in 1986 as a joint venture between Volkswagen AG and Siemens AG and given the name Volkswagen Bordnetze GmbH. Sumitomo Electric Industries took over the company in 2006 and since then it has been operating as Sumitomo Electric Bordnetze (SEBN). It currently employs more than 25,000 people at 21 locations worldwide.
