GLORIOUS EXCELLENT COMPANY AWARD 2016

Sumitomo Electric Group Glorious Excellent Company Award 2016 was celebrated on August 31, 2017 at Sumitomo Electric Industries Headquarters in the city of Osaka, Japan. There were 23 award-winning companies present, coming from countries all over the world such as Indonesia, Brazil, Vietnam and Hungary, a true testimony to the global identity of our parent company.

The President & COO of SEI Mr. Osamu Inoue personally gave the awards and issued a congratulatory address, which we’d like to share with the following extracts.

Mr. Osamu Inoue said: “This award was introduced in FY2006 in order to enhance “the sense of unity and belonging” and help to realize “Glorious Excellent Company’. The award is given based not only on the turnover or profit but also on the financial contribution to SEI Group including the return as well as the safety, quality and the other SEQCDD efforts”.

We have here today the group companies that made outstanding achievements in particular and I am very glad to be able to hold this ceremony with you all”.

Furthermore, our company SEWS CABIND was awarded not only the Glorious Excellent Company Award 2016 but also a Special Prize that is given to companies that have won awards for more than three consecutive years. This year the Special Prize has been awarded to only 4 companies, so this is an excellent achievement for SEWS CABIND and a demonstration of the commitment and dedicated efforts of all our employees.
