SEWS CA PRIME MINISTER VISIT
Wednesday 28 October 2020, SEWS CABIND ALBANIA, part of SUMITOMO ELECTRIC GROUP (SEG), welcomed for an official visit to its plant the Prime Minister of Albania Mr Edi Rama, the Japanese Ambassador Mr ITO Makoto and the Public Finance Minister Ms. Anila Denaj.
The distinguished guests toured the recently opened plant in Bathore, Kamez accompanied by the Plant Manager Mr Mario Scarfalloto and team. During the visit they were briefed in detail about the investment made and the business development plan currently underway.
The Prime Minister Rama took the opportunity to invite investors to direct investing to Albania due to the beneficial tax incentives that the country has in place, the lowest in the region.
The Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama declared as follows:
“I would like to thank the Japanese Ambassador for being an important instrument for this investment. We are also available (in terms of investments) for other expansion outside Tirana. If SEWS CABIND Albania wish to develop on public property we have to start now. There are some procedures and it is important to start as soon as possible with the Minister of Finance. Please treat our people fairly and everything will go fine”.
